Africa TradEEngine’s B2B drop-shipping is a business vendor strategy where verified and registered manufacturers/vendors on our platform directly manage and distribute their product inventories for brokers, sales agents and distributors. Brokers and sales agents don’t take possession of goods and inventory but sends information about their customers such as product number, delivery address, and order date to vendors – who fulfill the complete order on behalf of the brokers, sales agents and distributors.

How Africa TradEEngine’s Dropshipping Process Works:

  • A broker or sales agent places an order with a vendor.
  •  The vendor processes the order and ships to the wholesaler or large volume buyer.
  • The wholesaler receives the order from the vendor.
  •  Africa TradEEngine’s Escrow Banking System Holds Payment Until Transaction is completed.
  • After the order is received by the wholesaler or buyer, Africa TradEEngine instructs Escrow Bank to send commission to sales agents and brokers, and the vendor get paid in full for the cost of goods.

Instead of buying items from vendors in this case manufacturers and reselling them, sales agents, distributors and brokers forward orders to vendors who fulfill them on their behalf. The main difference between Dropshipping and traditional sales agent/broker fulfillment is that the sales agent/broker neither maintains the inventory nor the associated physical infrastructure of goods but get paid with commissions. This process fundamentally changes the dynamic between vendors and sales agents/brokers, helps vendors scale faster and reduce inventory cost for vendors.
